I first did this room for a 3-year old girl. When she turned 16 we used the same furniture but painted the walls and ceiling and selected new bedding to create a more mature, but still playful, 'desert oasis.' When I first did this room, I discovered a deep side in her closet and created an enchanting play space. Even at 16, she still loves it. (Click to enlarge)
